A Few Basic Things Up Top:
What I’m skilled at
I am skilled at creating a calming environment where people can connect to their deeper thoughts, goals, and inner-workings. After talking with me, people say that they feel listened to, and they feel more clarity in their next steps
Where I live and work
I live and work near the foothills of Colorado
Lighthearted things I enjoy
Chaotic family dinner time with our kids, the outlandish things they say/come up with, witty banter, fitting moments of play into a normal day
A Window Into My World Day to Day
Before I work with someone, I always wish I had a window into their world, to see how they manage their own life. So here is my attempt to give you that glance at the inner-workings: I am married with three kids, I lead multiple teams within my work life, and I rise early to allow a few moments of intentional quiet to start my day.
I give my best effort to the top priorities of my life, and I also know the elements of work-life and personal-life that are not the priority in this season. I coach individuals in their personal and professional practices, and I set a high standard for my own rhythms and routines.
I live seasonally and intentionally with those closest to me, and I am strategic with my priorities. If any of these things resonate with you, I would love to explore working with you in this season.
My Organizational Development Experience
Professional Credentials –
– M.A. in Organizational Leadership
– 15 years of experience in Organizational Design and Strategic Planning for individuals, teams, and organizations
My favorite part about Organizational Development is that you can apply its practices to so many areas of life: family, community groups, faith communities, volunteering, professional settings, and teams.
Within my current season, I work to cultivate healthy, values-driven departments and teams — where staff feel seen, supported, and equipped to grow. My leadership has focused on internal communication, employee engagement, team development, and creating innovative programs that prioritize whole-person flourishing — including staff appreciation, sabbaticals, and continuing education.
My Soul Care and Spiritual Direction Experience
Alongside my organizational work, I am also pursuing training in the area of Soul Care. Over the past seven years, the concept of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care have been primary areas of interest for me. During this time I have prioritized learning through books, sermons, and classes. There are so many rich resources available, wise people who have walked faith journeys before us, and it’s such a gift to be able to learn from them.
In addition to this level of study, I am also pursuing continuing education in this area. Currently, I am in formation, learning to walk alongside others in sacred listening and discernment, while meeting with a Spiritual Director of my own. And beginning next fall, I hope to enter into a one year Spiritual Direction Certification program through Denver Seminary.
